Lorde took home the MTV Video Music Award Best Rock Video Moonman for Royals on Sunday.

Pulled from Lorde's The Love Club EP, Royals snagged the honor over four other contestants.

The compilation for the hit song was directed by Joel Kefali and released on Feb. 20.

The 2014 Best Rock Video category was home to works by Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Imagine Dragons, and Linkin Park.

Arctic Monkeys were nominated for 2013's video of Do I Wanna Know. Pulled from AM, the track received a David Wilson directed video. The video was created in collaborated with Blinkink and features sound waves that morph into brief animations.

Fever by the Black Keys also made the VMA's list. The Theo Wenner directed video debuted in May, and turns Dan Auerbach into an unlikable televangelist during the True Blue track.

Imagine Dragons found a radio hit with Demons, and the band's video proved just as popular. Culled from Continued Silence, the Isaac Halasima directed nomination found its way to the Internet back in May of 2013.

Also up for a Moonman was Linkin Park's Until It's Gone. Featured on The Hunting Party, the Joe Hahn directed video was released on June 11.
