It's recently been confirmed that a majority of the actors from the very first X-men trilogy will be reprising their roles in the upcoming "X-Men: Days of Future Past." The popular franchise is set to once again launch another big screen installment of the popular comic series in the summer of 2014.

Both James Marsden (Cyclops) and Halle Berry (Storm) are said to be back on board for the blockbuster film. However, the casting department seemingly pulled no punches when it came to nailing down the rest of the cast, which presently includes Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Hugh Jackman.

While appearing at a press event for his latest flick "Les Miserables", Jackman elaborated to MTV News about director Bryan Singer's brand new "X-Men" flick.

"Yes, I've been talking with Bryan about it. I did a very small cameo [in 'First Class']. I said 'As long as it's no longer than three hours [of work] like last time...'"

While simultaneously joking, Jackman initially stayed relatively mum in terms of the storyline's details.

"I still have not seen the script, so we're in discussions about [the size of the role], I think things are a little bit in flux and this is my generalized way of saying I'm not going to tell you. Did you buy it? Any of it?

"Basically, I'm the only character in it. None of the other characters exist. I do talk about them, though. And occasionally you'll see a [thought] bubble, and there'll be pictures of Michael Fassbender and different characters. But the entire thing is one-shot singing. Don't tell anybody that, though. It's really a secret," Jackman added.

High-quality actors aside, many fans are wondering whether Famke Janssen (Jean Grey) will be back to reprise her role. However, there's a strong possibility that it won't happen as she could simply be written off as one of the numerous casualties in the mutant world.

Interestingly enough, none of the actors from "X-Men 3" such as Kelsey Grammar (Beast) or Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde) have yet to be cast in "Days of Future Past," but they have not been ruled out as of yet.
