Amy Schumer may be very candid with personal issues in her life, but there's even more we don't know about her.
Schumer is in the process of writing her first memoir, which the comedian is reportedly being paid $8-10 million to write. The actress, who is fresh off another gut-busting season of her Comedy Central sketch series, Inside Amy Schumer, as well as her summer hit movie Trainwreck, is having the year of her life.
And now she's letting her fans know even more about her life. Schumer spoke with Entertainment Tonight recently about the memoir.
"Believe it or not, there's more to know," she said. "It's funny, there's a lot of humor in it, but it's also kind of heavy."
Topics in the series of essays include her "childhood, how she got her big break in comedy, her family, and feminism."
Ultimately, Schumer said, "People are going to know everything about me."
Schumer is also fresh off hosting Saturday Night Live for the very first time. This was a landmark moment for the comedian and her career, as she told Entertainment Tonight.
"Hosting 'SNL' was really a big deal for me," she said. "To get to have my whole family there and my friends, [and] then I was done with the show and we all just got to have a drink together. That was really exciting."
There is no word yet on when Schumer's memoir will be hitting book shelves.
