Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder actually thinks one of the titular superheroes has an advantage over the other.

Why Jesse Eisenberg Is Channeling 'Anger' To Play Lex Luthor In 'Batman v Superman'

Snyder spoke with Total Film recently (via Indiewire) and admitted that Batman (Ben Affleck) has an advantage over Superman (Henry Cavill).

"The advantage that Batman has is the goodness of Superman; the compliance to fair play that Superman has... Batman knows how to exploit Superman," he told Total Film.

Whether this plays into what goes down in Batman v Superman remains to be seen.

Cavill spoke with the magazine about how the conflict kicks off in the film.

"What happens there is one of Bruce [Wayne]'s buildings gets destroyed and he's trying to save all the people inside the building and he can't," Cavill explained. "So he is this angry person who fears what Superman may do. Why are they just going to trust this super-powered alien? What if he does decide to turn against us?"

Affleck added that Batman feels a lot of "rage" for Superman, and this is explored further in the film.

"So it's how he got there, and what that's done to him, and what that's done to people around him like Alfred [Jeremy Irons], who are, I think, very scared and worried for him. It's something that's interesting and new," Affleck said.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on March 25, 2016.
