Three years after the couple parted ways, the Real Housewives of New York City star remains locked in a bitter custody battle over her 5-year-old daughter, Bryn Casey. According to the latest report, Hoppy has enlinsted the help of old neighbors to convince a judge rule in his favor.

Hoppy has been “gearing up for a new round of custody hearings," and he's ready to "play dirty," a source revealed to Life & Style last week, via a Radar Online report.

Accoding to the magazine's report, Hoppy has convinced his and Frankel's former neighbors to write letters accusing his soon-to-be ex-wife of poor parenting.

“They’ve called her a bad mother who isn’t there for her child,” an insider revealed to the magazine. “They despise Bethenny.”

As Radar Online previously revealed, Frankel was seen crying over her custody dispute with Hoppy during a season seven episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. During a scene with her co-star, Frankel was she was “on edge” due to her former partner's behavior.

“I don’t want to be away from my daughter for 21 days in a 31-day period and that’s it,” Frankel told her co-stars, who were attempting to include her in a group trip. “And you don’t have to understand."

Bethenny Frankel will return to Bravo next year in The Real Housewives of New York City season eight.
