Fresh off her successful Golden Globes co-hosting stint with fellow comedian and BFF Tina Fey, more good news has come out of the Amy Poehler camp. The hilarious “Parks and Recreation” star landed her first book deal with Harper Collins imprint, It Books.

The untitled book is described as “an illustrated, nonlinear diary full of humor and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons”, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The book is slated for a 2014 release.

It Books editor Carrie Thornton said she was “blown away by Poehler’s creativity and her passion.”

Poehler, 41, is just the newest in a stringer of female comedians that have landed lucrative book deals.

E! network’s resident female comedian Chelsea Handler owned the trend, scribing four books—three topped the New York Time’s Best Seller’s List. Handler, known for her brash discussions about sex on her talk show, will write about her sex life in a new release. The book is expected to hit shelves in October 2013 and will be a humorous spin-off of the wildly popular “50 Shades of Grey”, aptly titled “50 Shades of Chartreuse: This Time It’s Personal.”

Tina Fey’s book “Bossypants” topped the New York Times Best Seller’s List for five weeks, selling over two million copies.

No word on whether or not Poehler will talk about her divorce with actor Will Arnett. Poehler and Arnett split after 9 years of marriage in Sept. 2012.
The pair, who often appeared together on screen, have two young sons. The break-up was amicable according to an unnamed Us Weekly source.

Poehler, 41, became a household name performing on "Saturday Night Live."

Arnett, 42, is a Toronto native known for his roles on TV series including "Arrested Development" and "Up All Night."
