The BAFTAs Film Awards 2013 is taking place on Sunday night in London. The 66th annual awards show will be held at the Royal Opera House in London’s trendy Covent Garden and will see some of Hollywood’s elite out on show vying to collect the top awards. The top film coming into the awards show appears to be Steven Spielberg's “Lincoln,” which has the highest number of nominations - a total of ten, including Daniel Day-Lewis for Best Actor, Tommy Lee Jones for Best Supporting Actor and Sally Field for Best Supporting Actress.

In addition, the latest James Bond film, “Skyfall,” has received a total of eight nominations - with Javier Bardem nominated for Best Supporting Actor and Dame Judi Dench nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as spymaster M.

The Bond film has also been nominated in the categories of Outstanding British Film and Original Music, Cinematography, Editing, Production Design and Sound.

"We are absolutely thrilled Skyfall has received eight nominations from the British Academy. We thank everybody who has voted for Skyfall and all those who have contributed to the film's continuing success," producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said.

Skyfall - the song - by multiple Grammy Award winning artist, Adele, has also been nominated.

Other nominees for Best Supporting Actress are Anne Hathaway, nominated for her role as Fantine in Les Miserables, Amy Adams for The Master, and Helen Hunt for The Sessions.
