Vivienne Jolie-Pitt Earns $3,000 Per Week for Role on "Maleficent" Film
It pays off to be a Jolie-Pitt.
Vivienne Jolie-Pitt -- who is 4-years-old – landed a role in her mom’s upcoming fantasy-thriller, Maleficent, which earned her a paycheck of $3,000 per week according to TMZ. This information shouldn’t sit too well with most Americans, considering the federal minimum wage rate is just $7.25.
Vivienne nabbed a profitable contract. On top of the young actress’ $3K a week take home rate, she gets an extra $60 a day per diem. The twin sister to Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt, took on the role of a younger version of Princess Aurora in the flick. The movie focuses on the evil queen from the popular Disney film, Sleeping Beauty. Vivienne’s role will be the younger version to actress Elle Fanning’s role as Princess Aurora in the film.
Last year, the Disney studio confirmed that Vivienne’s other siblings Pax and Zahara will also appear in the film with non-speaking roles, making it that much more a family affair. Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was supposed to be in the film also but she was too bored and not in the mood during the filming schedule, according to the magazine source.
The plot of the film focuses on Young Aurora who grows up to be the villainous Maleficent’s arch-enemy. Rounding out the cast for the mega-star film is Juno Temple, Sam Riley, Brenton Thwaites, India Eisley, Miranda Richardson, and Kenneth Cranham. The film is scheduled for release in March 2014.
The family’s affinity for taking on rare projects together shouldn’t surprise you. It was reported that the Joli-Pitt kids enjoying snacking on the eccentric cuisine of crickets. Jolie introduced her brood of six to the delicacy while filming in Cambodia, where son Maddox was adopted.
Cambodians believe the crunchy cuisine is not only tasty but healthy. Crickets are rich in protein and reports suggest that they can help lower cholesterol. Her children quickly became hooked on the rare snack, compelling Jolie to scale back on the creepy critter for snack time.
"My boys love to eat crickets,” Jolie explained. “It's their favorite thing. They ate them like Doritos."
Angelina gave birth to Vivienne and Knox on July 12, 2008 in Nice, France.
