The 88th Academy Awards have just announced their nominees. Among those who got the Best Picture nod are Mad Max, Bridge of Spies, Room and The Revenant. However, Ice Cube has something to say after his film, Straight Outta Compton was snub in the category.

According to Entertainment, the actor, rapper and producer appeared on The Wendy Williams Show shortly after the nominees were announced. He agreed as the host said she was "expecting more" for the film.
"Me, too," he replied. "I'm not pissed. I'm not surprised. It's the Oscars, they do what they do." Straight Outta Compton received only a single nomination for Best Original Screenplay.

Despite the snub, the 46-year old is still happy about the turnout of the movie. "The people loved the movie, the people supported the movie, it was No. 1 at the box office, over $200 million worldwide. I can't be mad, you know."
