Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson, Russell Crowe and others will perform at the Academy Awards on Feb. 24 in a tribute to the revival of big-screen musicals during the last decade, academy organizers announced Wednesday. 

The performance will also include Hugh Jackman, nominated for his role in Les Miserables, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

"We are pleased to have been able to amass so much talent to create the celebration of musicals of the last decade that we envisioned," Oscars producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan said in a statement. "We are thrilled that so many talented actors have agreed to bring our vision to life." 

Les Miserables actors Amanda Seyfried, Helena Bonham Carter, Eddie Redmayne, Aaron Tveit and Samantha Banks will also join the musical tribute. 

R&B singer Hudson won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2007 for her role in Dreamgirls. Zeta-Jones won the same award for Chicago in 2003 and she starred in the musical film Rock of Ages that came out in 2012. Crowe won an Oscar for Best Actor in 2001 for his lead role in the drama Gladiator. Though he is not nominated this year, the film he starred in, Les Miserables, is up for eight Oscars including Best Picture.

Confirmed performers for the Academy Awards are Adele, Shirley Bassey, Norah Jones and Barbara Streisand. Adele will perform her Oscar-nominated song Skyfall from the James Bond film with the same name, The United Kingdom native already won a Golden Globe and BRIT Award for the song. Jones will perform the Oscar-nominated song Everybody Needs a Best Friend from the film Ted. 

Streisand's performance will be only the second time she has sung at the awards show, according to CBS News, and Bassey will make her Oscars debut in a special tribute honoring the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film series.

The 85th annual Academy Awards airs live on Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. ET.
