Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is predicted to have a huge opening weekend - though not a record-breaking one.

We have now entered the month of February, which means Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is about a month and a half away. As such, industry experts are in the process of predicting how well the big blockbuster will perform at the box office.

Notable predictors BoxOffice.com released their prediction for Batman v Superman recently and they're thinking big. The site is projecting $154 million for the opening weekend. If this comes to pass, it would be the no. 10 highest grossing opening of all time.

We are coming off three huge box office runs from 2015. Jurassic World broke the opening weekend box office record with over $208 million - which was then surpassed by Star Wars: The Force Awakens at over $247 million. These two movies are now among the highest grossing movies of all time domestically, in addition to Avengers: Age of Ultron. 

BoxOffice.com is also predicting that Batman v Superman will gross about $380 million in total for its theater run.

Batman v Superman is the first feature-length live-action movie featuring both Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill). This movie also features the live action movie debut of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot).

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on March 25.
