A slew of details on Marvel's upcoming blockbuster flick Iron Man 3 hitting the Internet includes the premature release of a new official trailer and some interesting photos from the set.

The most recent production still features Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) looking like the second-coming of Lethal Weapon, and another of Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) alongside Aldrich Killian (Guy Pearce).

Although many of the comic hero's fans would like to see the franchise end on a high note with the third installment, Iron Man 3 director Shane Black may have indicated that there's more to come out of Tony Stark beyond the soon-to-be trilogy.

In a February interview with the French movie website Premiere, Black indicated that the final hurrah for Iron Man may still be a far away.

"I have the feeling that the story that we have developed for Iron Man 3 actually concluded a trilogy, while [also] leaving the door open to a fourth," he said. "I had a lot of discussions on this subject: 'is that it is the case, and will be seen in a fourth, or fifth... But I can be a little excited."

The first promotional poster from the upcoming blockbuster was officially released last week and it features Stark inside a body of water because of an explosion that occurred in Malibu, which caused his pad to fall into the ocean. The respective poster indicates that Stark's armor won't be in the best of shape, as pieces of the gear are blown off and smoldering with his scraped up skin exposed.

The Iron Man 3 movie is set to be released on Friday, May 3. The newest trailer, which was released early in Mexico, can be viewed below.
