After Miley Cyrus was spotted without her engagement ring, rumors flooded in that there was trouble between here and fiancé Liam Hemsworth.

However, Cyrus, 20, made a reference to the rumors when she commented on a friend's tweet on Twitter on March 14.

One of Cyrus' backup singers, Lindsey J. Lee, tweeted, "had to send off my engagement ring today to get fixed... one of the little diamonds fell out... I feel naked without it [sad face] so sad!"

Cyrus replied, "ugh that's the worst! I just had a similar situation except when it happens to me then everyone says my wedding is off."

Her tweet was followed by three angry faced emoticons.

On March 7, a source told People that the couple was having problems. "They have a very strong physical attraction, but have very different personalities and backgrounds. This makes their relationship very complicated," the source told the magazine.

The Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth, 23, was spotted in Manila, Phillipines Friday to make promotional appearances for a clothing line, Bench, that he was signed on to endorse last summer, according to the New York Daily News.

The source also told People that Cyrus is really angry about the rumors that Hemsworth is cheating on her.
