Rodrigo Alves couldn't care less what people have to say about his operations.

Alves earned his title as 'Human Ken' after spending thousands of dollars on cosmetic procedures to change his face and body. In a post from Mirror on Saturday, the man mentioned his satisfaction and how he's willing to help anyone else with self-esteem problems.

"I deserve a medal for all of this work," Alves joked. "But it was worth the pain to achieve perfection."

Even though he might look like a children's toy, that wasn't Alves' goal. He's had 42 operations and plans to continue "improving" his look.

"I feel no shame in how I invest my own money," he said. "I was born in the wrong body. My soul never matched up with the rest of me, and now it does. I never set out to look like Ken. But people have increasingly commented on how similar we are. I'm happy with my look, but I will continue with surgery."

Alves also opened up on his difficult upbringing when he was bullied by other kids who would say and do cruel things to him.

"At seven I went to boarding school," he said. "I was pushed down stairs by other kids and had my face held to a urinal. I had boobs like a girl, I was called 'potato head.' I was fat, ugly, mishappen and depressed. I just wanted to be accepted by society and to fit that Brazilian standard of beauty.

After going through some wild procedures, including one that nearly left him dead, Alves seems much happier where he is today.

"I have wondered if I'll die on an operating table, but I've always wondered if I'll die crossing the road," he said. "But it was absolutely worth the pain to achieve perfection."
