Things might be getting dramatic in the Katrina Kaif-Ranbir Kapoor split.

According to Wednesday's report from Deccan Chronicle, the former Bollywood couple attended a birthday party where they may have had a confrontational moment. It seems that Kaif might want to pick things up where they left off, but Kapoor wants to move on.

"Katrina actually went up to Ranbir and asked him if they could give their relationship another try," a guest at the party reportedly said. "Ranbir refused to entertain the thought. He firmly told her it's over."

Apparently, the actress felt "very, very upset" when this happened. But at this point, it could be her wake-up call to realize it's really over.

"She gave all of herself into this relationship," the insider said. "He finally let her down very bad."

According to Mid-Day, the actors attended the party for their friend Aarti Shetty where things may not have been as terrible as they seem.

"Post their alleged break-up, Ranbir and Katrina have attended the same events, but always avoided crossing each other's paths," a source said. "They come face to face only during the shoot. But since Aarti is a common friend, they couldn't have missed attending her birthday. They were at the party at the same time and also spoke to each other cordially. What's more, they seemed pretty comfortable around each other."

It was also mentioned that Kaif and Kapoor had a pretty good time at the event and were some of the last people to leave.

"A few minutes after Ranbir drove out, the actress too hailed her chauffer and left," the source said.

Ever since rumors of their relationship started, both Kaif and Kapoor have done what they could to keep the details to themselves.
