A recent report reveals that Transformers 5 might be looking to cast a new face for one of the lead parts.

There had been a lot of questions about if Nicola Peltz would be reprising her role in the Age of Extinction sequel, and it seems like maybe not. After a long silence on that front, some recent news suggests that maybe the fifth installment might actually be looking for a new face. The Wrap reported that Nickelodoen star Isabela Moner is being eyed for the lead part opposite Mark Wahlberg, who will be reprising his role as Cade Yeager.

In fact the report also reveals what Moner's role would be were she to come on board:

She will "play the young female lead of Izabella, a street-smart tomboy who grew up an orphan and was raised in foster care. She counts a small Transformer as her only friend... until she meets Wahlberg's heroic inventor Cade Yeager."

Moner is known for playing parts in 100 Things to Do Before High School and Dora and Friends: Into the City!

In other recent news, it was revealed Jonathan Sela, known for his work on John Wick, will be the cinematographer in Transformers 5.

The movie is set to begin filming in Detroit over the summer and will be directed by Michael Bay, even though this will be his last film he will be helming in the series.

The previous installments of the series were also filmed in Detroit. Lee Rosenthal, the president of Physical Production at Paramount Pictures also spoke about the merits of filming in the state in an interview with Deadline. "Michigan has been so welcoming of Michael Bay and the Transformers movies over the years, and we are thrilled to be returning for this next incredible installment," said Rosenthal.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hit theaters on June 27, 2014.
