It has almost been a week since the late Prince passed away and now unforgettable stories about the legendary crooner are beginning to surface and one actress reveals one moment that many fans never knew occurred.

Nia Long, who stars in films like Best Man Holiday and Are We There Yet?, took to Instagram to remember Prince. She used a story and revealed a special moment they shared.

“At 18 I met him at a club. We talked. He asked me out. Believing he was out of my league, I declined,” she wrote just after news of his death earlier this month. But that wasn’t the only interaction she had with Prince, who reportedly was treated for an overdosed on percocet just days before he passed away on April 21.

“Years later we met again at my 21st birthday party in NYC. We sat in a booth and talked about his love of my short hair. I expressed my love of his music and style.”

While the two shared a special moment, Long added that she couldn’t help but question how special it was to him.

“I wonder if he remembers me?” she added before making it clear it will be a memory she’ll never forget.

She ended with the hash tag of one of his famous songs #LadyCabDriver.”
