'Vanderpump Rules' 2016: Kristen Doute Wears Fake Engagement Ring [VIDEO]

Kristen Doute may not be engaged to her boyfriend, Brian Carter, but she's getting used to the idea.

In a new interview, the Vanderpump Rules star admitted she's been wearing an engagement ring to see how it feels.

"Kristen wears a fake engagement ring!" Doute's co-stars, including Katie Maloney, Stassi Schroeder and Scheana Marie, revealed during an interview with E! News on Monday. "She's practicing."

"It looks good. I just wanted to see—what if I don't like this cut?" Doute responded, explaining that she purchased the ring herself.

According to Doute, an engagement may happen "one day," but for now, she and Carter are just dating.

"Everything's great. I have zero complaints. He's fantastic," she said.

After E! News shared the article on Twitter, several fans weighed in on the idea of a fake engagement ring, and many weren't too impressed with Doute's bling. Below are several comments.

Doute began dating Carter last year after splitting from James Kennedy during filming on Vanderpump Rules season four. As fans saw during the show, Doute and Kennedy had a very toxic relationship and in addition to allegations of cheating against both parties, the two were seen getting physical during Scheana Marie and Mike Shay's wedding reception after Doute left the party for a smoke break with another man.

The fifth season of Vanderpump Rules will air later this year on Bravo. A premiere date has not yet been set.
