Lauren Conrad opened up on a frustrating moment that took place during her ex-friend's wedding.

On Wednesday, Us Weekly posted details from the reality star who went to Heidi Montag's wedding to Spencer Pratt despite the fact that she and Montag aren't friends anymore. Her final scene of The Hills was shot on the big day, but it didn't go exactly as planned.

Conrad said she had to leave the wedding early to attend another event, but couldn't when the electricity inside the church went out.

"The power was out, the generator was out and I said, 'I need to leave!'" Conrad said. "And [producers] wouldn't let me leave! They literally locked me in the basement with two security guards and wouldn't let me leave! And I was like, 'You can't keep me here!' I was throwing a fit!"

The site pointed out that producer Adam DiVello said that Conrad "might have felt locked in, but she was not."

Montag's wedding was filmed two hours later and Conrad made her way out after the ceremony. And as it turns out, she didn't really communicate with anyone that day.

"At that point, this wasn't really my life anymore, and I felt out the [church's] side door, so that's why in the final scene, I'm not leaving with everyone else- I'm taking a side exit out because I had a car waiting, and I needed to leave!" she said.

Meanwhile, Montag previously told BuzzFeed that the last time she spoke with Conrad was about two years ago.

"We kind of were talking a little and then we both were kind of like, 'We're not friends.' It's kind of awkward," she said. "But I do really love Lauren for everything that she has ever done for me and I do have a place in my heart for her. So I am thankful for everything that she's done and I hope she has a great life."
