An answer has officially been revealed on a rumored sex tape that took place during The Hills.

In Saturday's report from Entertainment Tonight, it was pointed out how there was skepticism that reality star Lauren Conrad was in a sex video, and that Heidi Montag was spreading those rumors, leading to their infamous argument.

Montag claims she was not a part of this and mentioned how difficult it was to have this be surrounded around her and her husband, Spencer Pratt.

"That's a really hard situation and that was a very challenging thing," she said. "I think that's Lauren and her past and [we] really had nothing to do with that."

Apparently, the sex tape rumors came on really suddenly when Montag wasn't expecting it.

"Honestly, it was a hard time because I went in for my first cosmetic surgery and then I came out and it was like this crazy explosion," she said. "My phone has like 100 texts and eight things from her and all these people and I'm like, 'What the heck is? Did I die and go to hell? What happened?"

Pratt also dished on the situation saying that everything he revealed before was true.

"I feel like no matter how many times I try to explain the situation, it's always like, 'Spencer made it up.' But I didn't make up anything," he said. "If it was, some lawyers would have sued [me] for defamation of character. Nothing was ever made up."

So here's the big question? Was there a sex tape featuring Conrad and Jason Wahler?

Wahler revealed that a sex tape does not exist.

"Whoever started [the rumor], started it," he said. "It's just annoying and it's childish, but, no, there's no tape."
