Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have reportedly canned plans for more kids.

As divorce rumors continue to swirl, the couple has reportedly decided against a future pregnancy, opting to instead focus on the issues within their marriage.

“Nicole and Joel have decided to stop having kids because they realized that they wanted to focus their attention on fixing their marriage and raising their two children the best that they can,” a source close to the reality star told Radar Online on Wednesday.

Married since 2010, Richie and Madden are parents to a 6-year-old daughter, Harlow, and an 8-year-old son, Sparrow.

Months ago, Madden was accused of cheating on his wife with several different women, and he and wife Richie havde been seen numerous times without their wedding rings. However, after an allegedly rocky patch in their marriage, Richie and Madden have begun going to counseling in hopes of saving their marriage.

“Nicole and Joel are now going to marriage counseling and it has made things so much better for them,” the insider told Radar. “Nicole is dealing with her issues surrounding her weight and has really gotten comfortable in her skin lately, and Joel is meeting her halfway now. He is getting counseling to deal with anger issues.”

“Neither one of them want to divorce because they realized that they are still very much in love,” the insider added. “They could not imagine life without each other.”

Earlier this year, after a moving van was spotted at the Richie-Madden residence, a source claimed the couple was at odds.

"Nicole and Joel are basically living as co-parents right now," a source close to the mother of two told Radar Online in January. "They had a super rough year and right now they are really trying everything imaginable to salvage what is left of their marriage."

"Neither Nicole, nor Joel, seems to know what to do to make their marriage work," the source added.
