Michael Phelps Girlfriend: Taylor Lianne Chandler Responds To Rumor That She Was Swimmer's 'Hook-Up' [VIDEO]

Taylor Lianne Chandler is not having it with the latest report on her suspected life with Michael Phelps.

On Monday, a post from The Hollywood Gossip claimed that Chandler "hooked up" with the Olympic swimmer two years ago during the time he received a DUI. The post points out how Chandler has been vocal about the alleged incident ever since it happened two years ago.

The woman responded to this story in a Facebook video where she scrolls down her social media page that shows the link. And in her eyes, this is nothing more than a lie.

"People don't even take into consideration what lies like these can do to somebody," she said. "And I just find it sad."

Chandler continues her emotional response by explaining why people assume she was nothing more than Phelps's hook-up as opposed to something that could've been more than that.

"It's easier for them and the world to believe that I was a hook-up and a mistake than to think that he cared about me," she said. "That we saw each other, that we made plans, that we were together multiple times, that when we were together, he loved me. So sad."

                                                                                              To this day, Phelps has still yet to comment on the rumor that he either dated, hooked up with, or even met Chandler.

The swimmer ended up winning gold at the Rio Olympics this week, something The Hollywood Gossip pointed out as he has gotten his life back on track following the DUI in fall 2014. But Chandler has yet to completely move on since her social media pages still talk about how she feels about Phelps and the horrible things he supposedly put her through.
