Cirque du Soleil will perform at the Oscar Awards on February 26, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced today.

The three-minute performance will be "unique and exclusive" and will feature the largest Cirque cast ever assembled for a single act. It will be accompanied by music from composer and Oscar nominee Danny Elfman .

This will mark the high-flying circus act's second performance at the Oscars. They first appeared in 2002.

The 84th Academy Awards will be held at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles and broadcast by ABC.

Presenters at this year's ceremony include Tina Fey, Halle Berry, Cameron Diaz, Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez, Tom Hanks, Penelope Cruz, Emma Stone and Ben Stiller.
