Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson had a lot to deal with during their biggest time in the spotlight.

The actors are known for playing the leading characters in the Twilight movies where they ended up dating in real life. This gave the two massive attention from the public, something that was difficult on both of them.

The ex-couple looked back on their time when they were filming these movies where it came with some unfortunate consequences. Things got so hard that the two dealt with some physical problems.

Pattinson spoke to Sunday Times Culture where he said he "got wasted the whole time," via Sunday's report from RTE.

It was also hard for the actor to speak properly during interviews.

"You feel insane, but I think the studio cut my days because I started speaking total gibberish," he said. "Just be a total liability."

Stewart had some similar problems based on what she told Elle UK. All of her fame led to anxiety issues and feeling sick.

"I went through so much stress and periods of strife," Stewart said. "I would have panic attacks...I literally always had a stomach ache. And I was a control freak and I couldn't anticipate what was going to happen in a given situation, so I'd be like, 'Maybe I'm going to get sick...' it's kind of remarkable. I just grew out of it, but that's not to say I don't get worried."

The actress also mentioned how different it was when she was dating a man at that point since she is now "in love" with her girlfriend Alicia Cargile.

"When I was dating a guy I was hiding everything that I did because everything personal felt like it was immediately trivialized so I didn't like it," she said. "We were turned into these characters and placed into this ridiculous comic book, and I was like, 'That's mine. You're making my relationship something that it's not.' I didn't like that."
