Shannen Doherty continued to be open about her journey in fighting breast cancer. This week, the actress showed an emotional photo showing her transformation and her innermost thoughts after being treated with radiation therapy.

On her Instagram, the 45-year old actress posted a photo showing her seated in a laboratory chair and surrounded by hospital equipment, her transformation made apparent with her bald head and a change on her skin tone.

The actress shared her fears while on treatment saying that radiation is 'frightening' for her as well as the machines that made it possible. The actress added a hopeful tone saying she will 'get used to it' but still continued to despise the process.

It was in August 2015 since the "Charmed" star recorded her fight against cancer among followers on her social media which includes body transformations like her hair loss struggles and the lessons she learned from her experience.

A month ago, she also informed her followers that she underwent chemotherapy before this month's radiation, Mail Online recalled.

In the black-and-white photo, Doherty posed with her husband, Kurt Iswarienko and 'her crew' including the doctor and nurse who helped her through the medical procedure. In the caption, she stressed the importance of courage, tenacity and strength as she continued to smile amidst her health battles.

Last week, while the "90210" alum was waiting for the radiation procedure, she shared her anxieties about it saying that the treatment triggered a 'full panic attack,' Today reported.

Despite feeling 'sick of being poked', the celebrity remained courageous amidst her tears and manage to remind her self how lucky she is.

Last week, Doherty posted a positive note to her followers sharing her involvement of the 1980s film reboot, TV Land's "Heathers."

She, however, did not announce what role is in store for her in the TV series.
