Singer Miguel is making headlines after he kicked a fan during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night.

The 27-year-old singer took the stage at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas to perform his hit-song Adorn. He was dressed in all-white and appeared to be really in his performance. Toward the end of the performance, Miguel was seen leaping into the audience. He landed short on top of two random fans who were watching.

Both women appeared to be hurt by the incident as they held their heads and walked away. One woman's name was identified as Khyati.

Moments later, Miguel took to his Twitter to apologize to the fans, in which he said it was an accident.

"Got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is okay," he tweeted moments after the incident.

The women were reported to be fine and were seen backstage holding an ice pack to their heads.

Miguel wasn't the only superstar who experienced an embarrassing moment at the awards show.

Singer Justin Bieber performed twice and accepted a number of awards for the night, but when he accepted the fan-voted milestone, he was booed from some fans in the audience.

"I'm 19 years old; I think I'm doing a pretty good job. And basically from my heart I really just want to say it should really be about the music, it should be about the craft that I'm making," he said.

Fans screamed for Bieber when he was announced the winner, but as he took stage before his acceptance speech, the negative response was heard from the crowd.

This is not a gimmick," he continued at the podium. "I'm an artist and I should be taken seriously and all this other bull should not be spoken."
