Niantic Lab's "Pokemon Go" has been very popular after its release, as a matter of fact, it not just dominated iOS and Android devices but it also appears as a game made for all ages. Although this moment it seems that the said video game's patrons diminished, it will reportedly feature Gen 2 Pokemon from Johto region soon.

Android Police reported it was way back in December when Niantic Lab has publicized that some Pokemon from the Johto region would become available on "Pokemon Go" through eggs. As a refresher, the Johto region is the place where Pokemon Gold and Silver take place in. Also, gamers will soon be capable of discovering some Johto Pokemon in the wild without the difficulty of hatching eggs.

It can be remembered that this news was announced in official Pokemon Trainer Club Newsletter. Based on the newsletter, new Pokemon will start appearing, but since there has been no other statement, it was thought that the message may have been sent out early.

Additionally, Mic has learned that a Silph Road community member under username tadayou shared a photo of an email sent to German players by the Pokemon Company. The said image might indicate the addition of more Gen 2 Pokémon to the "Pokemon Go."

It was also noted that the picture of the two Pokemon and the Pokemon egg contained within the German email was formerly presented by Niantic on Dec. 12, 2016. The text which was interpreted stated that Pokemon found in the Johto region may now be found in "Pokemon Go".

Although the image did not detail which creatures would be offered in the wild, both Pichu and Togepi are noticeable in the image. Also, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Pichu, Togepi, Elekid, Magby, and Smoochum can already hatch from eggs in "Pokemon Go", this may specify that these monsters can now be found in the wild as well.

For the "Pokemon Go" gamers who have managed to catch one Gen 2 Pokemon from Johto region feel free to comment below. Or just in case they don't, they could also share their frustrations.
