"Injustice 2" is one of the most-awaited games for 2017. As the official launch date for the collaboration between NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. game draws near, more and more teasers and updates have been released.

According to Game Spot, details for "Injustice 2" characters will be released within this week. Also, more beta codes are expected to be released soon. Speaking of characters, NetherRealm Studios has unveiled Black Canary's character early this week. As the "Injustice 2" release date looms ominously ahead, NetherRealm Studios confirms that more characters will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, NetherRealm head, Ed Boon, has confirmed that a third wave of codes for "Injustice 2" beta will be released in the coming days. However, he clarified that as much as he wants to hand out the codes for everyone, limited number of players and beta testers can be accommodated. Of course, this has led the players to ask why NetherRealm didn't opt for an open beta, to which Ed Boon addressed by saying that opting for an open beta isn't as simple as it looks. "Oh if life was that simple. There's a lot more involved that I can get into," he said. PlayStation Lifestyle encourages interested early birds to pay close attention and constantly check Ed Boon's Twitter account to get first dibs on the limited beta codes.

As of writing, confirmed and official "Injustice 2" characters include Black Canary, Robin, Batman, Atrocitus, Blue Beetle, Gorilla Grodd, The Flash, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Superman. For those who are still guessing who might join the "Injustice 2" squad, it would be good to note that Ed Boon has previously hinted that they will be featuring obscure characters. "Injustice 2" is set to be launched on May 16 for PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
