'Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy' Release Date, News, Update: Lanching On June 30 [Video]
The remastered "Crash Bandicoot" collection headed to PlayStation 4 is going to release on June 30, Activision announced recently. The set of the game will be available for $39.99
The "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" will include "Crash Bandicoot", "Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back", and "Crash Bandicoot: Warped. " According to the Activision, the remaster will be offering the redone lighting and animations, newly-recreated cinematics, and the support for PlayStation 4 Pro.
The"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" will be having an enhanced 4K experience. The remastered trilogy will also be having a fully remastered soundtrack. It will have full analog stick support, alongside new unified save and checkpoint systems, according to Polygon.
In the "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" Vicarious Visions, which is handling the work of updating the classics, also improved the game's bonus levels and time trials and recreated the intro cinematic with updated graphics and sound. A trilogy of "Crash Bandicoot" remasters was announced by Sony at E3, with its official title revealed at PSX in December.
The "N. Sane Trilogy" was remastered by Vicarious Visions, who also worked alongside developer Toys for Bob on last year's Skylanders Imaginators, which featured Crash Bandicoot, IGN reported. Vicarious Visions has used the original games' level geometry, but the gameplay of the "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" is rebuilt from scratch.
Some new features for the updated versions include a unified checkpoint and save system, which includes manual and auto-saving, as well as a unified menu system. There will also some time trials available for each game. The voice actors in the "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy", are Fred Tatasciore, Debi Derryberry, Greg Eagles, Dwight Schultz, Maurice LaMarche, John DiMaggio, Jess Harnell, Corey Burton, and Lex Lang, as noted by PlayStationLifeStyle.
