Eminem fans would be delighted with the announcement Reading and Leeds Festival founder Melvin Benn has made. He has confirmed that the Detroit rapper would be the third and final headliner at the festival, scheduled to be held in August.

Melvin Benn, the founder of Reading and Leeds Festival, has announced Eminem as the third and final headliner at the event, Billboard reported. In a statement, Benn said that Eminem's return to Reading and Leeds is beyond exciting. He also said that Eminem's 2013 headline performance was incredible and therefore, he could not wait to have him back.

Revealing other two headliners i.e. Kasabian and Muse, Benn said that they have announced more than 70 additional acts to this year's lineup and it is looking stronger than ever. Notably, this is the third time Eminem will be performing the headline acts at the Reading and Leeds Festival. He has appeared before in 2001 and 2013.

So, Eminem is returning to the prestigious festival after a gap of four years and will be joined by many other notable performers. According to HipHopDX, the festival will treat fans to the likes of Tory Migos, Flatbush Zombies, Major Lazer, Danny Brown and dozens other. The rest of the performers will be revealed later.

Well, for Eminem fans, this is definitely great news as the Detroit rapper has been missing from action for a long time. His last album came out in 2013 and as far as live performances go, he only made a cameo appearance for Big Sean in his album "I Decided." However, it made headline because of its attacks on Donald Trump and Ann Coulter.

Also, Eminem supposedly teased the lyrics of his upcoming album at a radio show some time back. For those who do not know, the rapper has already said that he is working on his new album. Though the album's release date is not confirmed, many feel that it will take place in 2017.

It may be mentioned here that the Reading and Leeds Festival, where Eminem is expected to perform would be held in the United Kingdom from Aug. 25 to 27.
