"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is now being promoted as the last title in the long-running franchise-and fans have waited to see Jack Sparrow once again. The latest trailer did not disappoint as well, as the fan favorite has shown more of himself.

The Jerry Bruckheimer-produced franchise welcomes to the field the infamous Spaniard Captain Salazar played by Javier Bardem, hunting down Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) after what seemed to be a rather tragic past between the two. "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" aims to also showcase just how unruly the young Sparrow was, especially as Salazar blames him for his untimely demise.

According to Game Spot, although the recent trailer does not show all the characters to be included in the film, other trailers of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" shows Will Turner, played by Orlando Bloom. Other than that, it was said Paul McCartney from The Beatles will have a part in the movie, continuing the growing trend of singers participating in the movie-after Keith Richards from "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End."

In the past, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise has introduced various characters, such as Captain Barbossa, The Flying Dutchman and even Blackbeard. In the upcoming flick, one of the more intriguing characters is the presumed son of Will Turner, Henry, who looks to team up with Sparrow to stop the wrath of the undead army that Salazar will bring forth.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is slated to hit theaters on May 26, 2017. It is directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg. Stay posted for more news and updates as the film draws closer to its release date.
