Beyonce reportedly could not make it to Kim Kardashian's baby shower, so she sent an expensive gift in her absence on June 2. 

A source told The Sunday Mirror that the 31-year-old Grammy award-winning singer declined Kardashian's baby shower invitation because was busy performing on her Mrs. World Carter World tour. Instead, she sent the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and boyfriend, Kanye West a crystal-studded high chair, reported to be worth $11,800.

"Beyoncé and Jay-Z [gave Kim] a £9,000 (approximately $11,800) Swarovski crystal-studded high chair, designed by Carla Monchen," the source said. "They had a similar one for their daughter Blue Ivy."

West, who is close friends with Beyonce's husband, reportedly introduced Kardashian to the famous couple back in 2012. 

A source told Life & Style magazine that the Love on Top singer does not trust Kardashian. 

"Kim has wanted to be friends with Beyonce forever. From the moment she started dating Kanye, it was her goal to hang with Bey," a source told the magazine

Meanwhile, Beyonce was on hand to celebrate West's 36th birthday at Ms. Lily's restaurant in NYC on Saturday. 

While she has been in recent headlines regarding an alleged pregnancy, she showed up to West's birthday party showing off her stomach in a midriff  shirt. 

Beyoncé was joined by her husband Jay-Z and rapper Nas, among other guests. Kardashian was not in attendance. 

Enstars reported earlier that Beyonce spent the weekend in New York, and was spotted with her daughter, Blue Ivy in a Brooklyn park. 

New York Times' op-ed columnist Charles M. Blow was one of the first people to tweet the excitement about Blue Ivy, after he said his daughter noticed the mother and daughter in the playground.

"Daughter just came in the house breathless," Blow tweeted. "Saw Beyonce and Blue Ivy in the kiddie park down the street."

Beyonce is gearing up for her U.S. leg of her tour which begins in Los Angeles at the end of June.
