Rachel Uchitel, the former mistress of Tiger Woods, is getting a divorce, TMZ reported Monday.

Matt Hahn, Uchitel's spouse, filed for divorce on Monday on the grounds of cruel and usual punishment. Sources said that the former couple would get into explosive arguments and Uchitel is alleged to have slapped her husband. On May 16, one of their arguments involved the police. Uchitel called the cops to solve one of their disputes and have her spouse removed from their New York home but did not follow up on the matter according to the site.

"It is Ms. Uchitel's goal to resolve this action amicably, quickly and quietly and not in the media," Howard Bragman, her rep, said.

However, by Tuesday morning, the site reported that Hahn was asking for custody of his and Uchitel's 1 year-old-daughter, Wyatt Lilly. He also requested child and spousal support in his paperwork. In response, sources close to Uchitel told Radar Online Tuesday that the allegations were false.

"Cruel and inhumane treatment?! Rachel is shocked," the source said.

The insider added that Hahn was simply making these claims for publicity. It was cited that he was on Millionaire Matchmaker as proof of his love for attention. Furthermore, the source felt that Hahn was exaggerating his claims to garner sympathy with the judge in his bid for custody.

"She has said that he shoved her when she had Wyatt in her arms. She did slap him after he called her names but that's hardly cruel or inhumane. Rachel doesn't beat people up. It's absurd," the source said.

Uchitel and Hahn married in October 2011. The union came three years after Uchitel was identified as the first of many mistresses for golfer Woods. She received a $10 million settlement to remain quiet about her relationship with Woods. Uchitel was previously married to Wall Street Steven Ehrenkranz for four months in 2004. She was once engaged to investment banker James Andrew O'Grady, who died on September 11, 2001 because of the World Trade Center attacks.
