Samsung is set to reveal the Galaxy Note 8 next week and this is according to the latest reports. Moreover, it was also claimed that with the said launching, users can also expect for another secret feature which will be incorporated in the device.

According to CNET, the company just released a video which could tease the release of Galaxy Note 8 and it shows several vague buzzwords including its defining features. But some noticed that among the features, the S-Pen stylus was the most focused in the video. At the end of the teaser, Samsung calls out the Unpacked Event in New York on August 23 and mentions a hashtag as #DoWhatYouCant

It already becomes acceptable for users that the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 is an important phone for Samsung. The device will not only serve as the premium phone for users but it will also help determine the fate of the company's Note line. It can be recalled that last year, the Galaxy Note 7 was recalled due to reported faulty batteries and caused the phone to catch on fire.

Samsung needs to use the Galaxy Note 8 in order to show that its phones and devices are safe and that it is prepared to make phones which are ready to face Apple's iPhone 8 and LG's premium V30. Apart from the said top phone companies, Google will also launch its Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

For the features, it was reported on Forbes that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will get some premium specifications like a 6.4-inch display, dual-SIM compatibility, and dual-rear cameras. Because of its dual -SIM feature, a certain report claimed that the device might have a SIM tray that can both hold a SIM card and a micro SD or perhaps two SIM cards. If this is the case, the user can have the option of expandable storage o even an extra SIM.

With its upcoming launching, it was claimed that the Galaxy Note 8 will also have a separate release date in Europe. This will be a welcome change since the Samsung did not release Note 5 in Europe and the Note 7's launching in the said continent was cut short due to the recall.
