Brad Pitt is reportedly struggling to cope with his split from Angelina Jolie as they near the one-year anniversary of her divorce filing. 

While Jolie appears to be doing quite well as she and her kids continue to attend red carpet events, including the premieres of First They Killed My Father and The Breadwinner, a new report claims that the 53-year-old actor recently endured a very rough day on the set of Ad Astra.

“Brad stormed off set after one of his toughest days yesterday. He has been really stressed out over his divorce with Angelina and yesterday while shooting difficult scenes including stunts, his emotions got the best of him,” a source close to the actor told Hollywood Life on September 13.

“It was a grueling day, Brad had been attached to wires, it was intense and his discussions with his director, Jim Gray, whom he has known for decades got very heated," the insider continued. "There was some creative tension, but it wasn’t anything that could have derailed the production in any way. Sometimes friends fight and that’s what happened between Brad and the director."

“Brad is a passionate filmmaker intent on making sure every movie he makes is the best production possible, it was his passions that led to the blowup,” the source added. “Brad has been working hard at being his best self. He has been living very clean, and has not been drinking, smoking or vaping and that has been challenging for Brad too."

Pitt and Jolie split in September of last year after over two years of marriage and six kids. Since then, Pitt has been focused on his career as he continues to co-parent his children with his estranged wife.
