Shooting temporarily stopped on the set of Transformers 4 after a fire broke out and caused severe damage to a 100-year-old house and there is speculation it may have been caused by pyrotechnics used in production of the film, TMZ reported Wednesday.

The Pflurgerville Fire Department reported that the fire began in the attic of the house. Emergency responders were able to quickly extinguish flames before the rest of the house was damaged.

The attic, however, was considerably damaged.

"There was one injury to a civilian who was transported to the hospital by Austin Travis County EMS.  We have no other information on this person or their injury," a rep said.

No one suffered any burns but one individual suffered a broken ankle, according to DigitalSpy.com.

The fire was ruled as "accidental."

Police speculated that the fire may have been ignited by burning embers from pyrotechnics being used but that has not yet been proven.

A crew member working on the site reportedly told Texas local TV new station KVUE a "controlled explosion" was being filmed at the time of the incident.

The untitled Transformers sequel based on the popular Hasbro toys line stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Jason Reynor, Sophia Miles, Li Bingbing, T.J. Miller and Kelsey Grammer.

The plot is still under wraps but the film's director Michael Bay recently hinted to ComingSoon.net that the story involves a "Chase from Hell."
