Kailyn Lowry's ex-husband Javi Marroquin is weighing in on their recent kiss and the current nature of their relationship.

After sparking rumors of a possible reconcilation after sharing a kiss at the premiere of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars on Thursday night in New York City, Marroquin said that there is simply no chance of him and Lowry getting back together.

“I have love for her, but we’re not getting back together,” he explained to Radar Online on October 13. “If things were different and things didn’t play out the way they did, maybe we could’ve given it another shot. But too anythings have happened to do that.”

Lowry has welcomed a third child since her split from Marroquin last year but is no longer dating her third baby daddy, Chris Lopez. As fans may recall, Lowry gave birth in August, months after calling it quits with Lopez after a short-lived romance at the end of last year.

Continuing on, Marroquin said that he and Lowry are doing okay at the moment as they continue to co-parent their three-year-old son, Lincoln.

“We’re pretty good right now,” he said. “We hang out a lot. I have Lincoln 50 percent of the time. I got to all their soccer stuff. I see her almost everyday.”

“Kailyn, she’ll always have a soft spot in my heart,” Marroquin noted. “When she tells me stories of what she’s struggling with and what she’s going through in her life, it hits home for me. I never want to see her struggle or go through stuff. I always want to help her out and ask if I can do anything. I wish things could be different, but they’re not.”
