Tyrese Is Quitting 'Fast And Furious' Franchise, Blames The Rock For His Departure
It looks like Fast and Furious 9 will happen without Tyrese. Tyrese has once again revived his on-going, one-sided feud with co-star, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and claims that if 'The Rock' is in the next Fast and Furious film, he won't be a part of it.
The feud began back when rumors were circulating that there would be a spin-off featuring 'The Rock', in the works. Tyrese allegedly pleaded with his co-star not to make the film as it would, in his opinion, 'hurt' the Fast franchise. When it was confirmed that Johnson and Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw) would be starring a Hobbs and Shaw spin-off, Gibson went on a rampage, calling Johnson 'selfish' and accusing Johnson of breaking up the FF family.
Recently, Gibson has been locked in a heated custody battle over his daughter, Shayla, with his ex-wife, Norma.
Norma accused the Sweet Lady singer of overtly beating and abusing their daughter and filed a restraining order against him. Gibson has denied all claims of abuse and even tried to reach out to his daughter, against the court's order.
Gibson checked himself into the hospital following his first day at court, stating that he felt, 'dehydrated' and was experiencing 'chest pains'.
Now in the midst of everything he's dealing with, Tyrese took social media to once again take a dig at his once friend and co-star.

The Rock has yet to directly respond back to Gibson, and has not done so since the Baby Boy actor first started to harass him via social media.
Tyrese starred in Fast and Furious 2, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Tyrese was best friends with the late Paul Walker and was reportedly close to all of the other cast members, including 'The Rock'.
