Turner's Love Story

Tina Turner: My Love Story is expected to be the centerpiece of the "What's Love Got to Do with It" singer's milestone year as Turner will be celebrating her 60th anniversary in the entertainment industry. Some of the topics that Turner is allegedly writing about include her love story with German music executive Erwin Bach to a hidden illness.

My Love Story will follow up her 1986 autobiography, I, Tina, which Turner revealed that she was a survivor of severe domestic abuse. Turner openly admitted that at times, her ex-husband, Ike Turner, verbally and physically abused the "River Deep Mountain High" singer for countless years. I, Tina was transformed in the 1990s into drama-biopic the What's Love Got To Do With It movie starring Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne as Tina and Ike Turner, respectively.

She also worked with legendary recording artists such as Cher, Mick Jagger, Elton John, Bryan Adams, and the late David Bowie.

Turner inspired countless women such as Oprah Winfrey and Beyoncé to make their individual mark in the world. She earned numerous accolades such as The Kennedy Center Honor in 2005. Rolling Stone also named Turner one of the greatest singers of all-time and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her musical contributions.
