Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were both in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on New Year's Eve, but they weren't photographed together at all. That said, a new report claims the couple did enjoy spending the holidays together.

While Gomez and Bieber made sure to keep out of the public's view, an insider claimed on New Year's Day that the recently reunited couple are doing "great" after a fun celebration on Sunday night.

“Justin and Selena are doing great. They celebrated New Year’s Eve together in Cabo,” the source told People magazine on Jan. 1.

Gomez arrived in Mexico at the end of last week via private jet with several of her friends. Then on Friday, she was seen enjoying time on the beach with several friends, including Ashley Cook, Raquelle Stevens, and Courtney Barry.

As for her musician boyfriend, Bieber remained in Canada until just before New Year's Eve. Since then, he has posed for a number of social media posts, none of which have included Gomez.

Gomez and Bieber began dating in 2010 and continued to date on and off until 2015. Then after a 10-month relationship between Gomez and The Weeknd, Bieber and Gomez reunited and have been enjoying spending time together in Los Angeles ever since.

Gomez and Bieber were also recently spotted together at the Sugar Factory in Seattle, Washington.

News of Gomez and Bieber's New Year's Eve celebration comes just days after a source told Hollywood Life that Gomez was hoping to reunite with Bieber on New Year's Eve and share a kiss at midnight.

“Selena has one wish for her New Year’s eve party plans and that is to get a romantic kiss from Justin at midnight. After a rocky year, and lots of family drama surrounding Christmas, Selena is eager to spend her New Year’s eve with Justin,” a source close to the singer explained.

“She is so happy they found their way back to each other in 2017 and Selena has never felt better about her future with Justin," the insider added.

The source also said that when the clock strikes midnight, Gomez hoped to be with her man so that she and Bieber could start off 2018 in each other's arms.

Prior to his reunion with Gomez, Bieber was linked to Hailey Baldwin, Sofia Richie, and Kourtney Kardashian.
