Justin Timberlake fans should be really excited! The wait for new music is finally over!

On Tuesday, the 36-year-old pop singer kicked off 2018 by announcing his upcoming album, Man of the Woods.

The album is set to arrive on Feb. 2.

Timberlake also took to Twitter to hint that something special will be dropping this Friday, Jan. 5, perhaps a new song?

This will be the Tennessee native's first new music since "Can't Stop the Feeling," which debuted in May 2016 and hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. "Can't Stop the Feeling" was off of the soundtrack for the DreamWorks Animations' movie,Trolls, which Timberlake also served as the executive music producer.

"This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I've written, where I'm from, it's personal," Timberlake stated.

Justin Timberlake Is Back

Timberlake also took to Twitter to release a one-minute video. In the video, the Grammy Award winner could be seen in various landscapes, along with glimpses of his wife, actress, Jessica Biel. Record producer and Man of the Woods collaborator, Pharrell Williams also makes an appearance in the clip.

"It feels so earthy, it's just where you are in your life right now," Pharrell said.

In September 2016 in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Timberlake mentioned that he was back in the studio.

"I've been in and out of the studio, obviously, with some of my more frequent — and less frequent — collaborators," Timberlake said.

In October 2016, the "SexyBack" singer confirmed that he was reuniting with his original team of producers such as, Timbaland, Pharrell, Max Martin, and Shellback.

"I would not say that I'm making a country album, but I also don't like to say that I'm making an R&B album," Timberlake continued.

Man of the Woods makes its debut at the perfect time as Timberlake is set to perform at the 52nd Super Bowl on Feb. 4. Although, JT's album will be released two days before the Super Bowl, it has not yet been confirmed if he will be performing songs from the new album.

This will be the actor's first appearance at the Super Bowl since his 2004 halftime performance with Janet Jackson, which no one could ever forget. The Friends with Benefits star, removed a piece of Jackson's outfit during his "Rock Your Body" lyrics.

Viewers all over the world will be tuning to see if Timberlake makes another unforgettable performance during this year's Super Bowl halftime show, but until then, JT fans await patiently to see what the singer has in store for this week.
