Catelynn Lowell has returned to rehab just weeks after returning home to her husband and their daughter.

After ringing in the New Year with husband Tyler Baltierra and their daughter Nova, who turned 3-years-old on New Year's Day, the Teen Mom OG star took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce that she was headed back to the facility for her third stint in rehab.

“Well they say third time’s a charm,” Lowell tweeted earlier this week, according to a report by Radar Online on Jan. 17. “I’m going back to treatment people for 6 weeks to work on my trauma and getting on different meds.”

According to Lowell, she will be continuing treatment in an effort to work through what she claimed was “childhood trauma.” Lowell also thanked her husband, Baltierra, for his ongoing support of her mental health efforts.

“I love you so much,” she wrote to him. “You are my light! And Nova you are my sunshine."

Lowell Confirms Plans For Rehab

Lowell first confirmed she was heading to rehab in November of last year, claiming that she was experiencing thoughts of suicide and considering ways to take her life. A short time later, she spoke to Radar Online about her shocking thoughts.

“I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself," she explained. "On November 17, I thought of every way possible to commit suicide, from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole.”

Weeks into her treatment, Lowell decided to check out of the facility and returned home on Dec. 29, 2017 and committed herself to continuing her care through an outpatient treatment center. She also planned to stop drinking alcohol and smoking pot.

Rehab Not A First For Lowell

Lowell also went to rehab to treat issues of anxiety and depression in 2016, months after welcoming her daughter Nova and suffering from postpartum depression.

Throughout her stints in rehab, Lowell's husband has remained completely supportive of her decisions to get help and continues to step up as a father for their daughter while she's tending to her emotional issues.
