Meghan Markle has delivered her first royal speech months before she marries Prince Harry and becomes an official member of the royal family.

Prince Harry and Markle, who are set to tie the knot at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, have stepped out for several royal engagements as a couple since the announcement of their engagement in November.

Being a member of the royal family comes with its own set of rules and regulations, dictating everything from how royals should dress to what they should eat to how they should greet others.

On Thursday, Feb. 1, Markle attended the annual Endeavour Fund Awards at the at the Goldsmith's Hall in London with her fiancé in tow. It appears that she continues to prove that she won't let royal protocol get in her way.

Meghan Markle Breaks Royal Protocol

The Suits actress ditched a glamorous gown for a chic black Alexander McQueen pantsuit to present one of the awards at the awards ceremony. The annual Endeavor Fund Awards recognizes the achievements of wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women who have participated in remarkable sporting and adventure competitions as part of their recovery and rehabilitation.

Markle was handling presenting duties for the Celebrating Excellence Award and marked her first royal speech as she introduced the winner: Daniel Claricoates.

However, the move has been seen by many as a violation of royal protocol because of the fact that she's technically not a royal yet, a Daily Mail reporter pointed out on social media:

The Royal Bride To Give Speech At Her Wedding

A few days ago, The Sunday Times published a report claiming that Markle intends to give a speech during the reception of her upcoming nuptials to Harry, which would break another royal protocol.

The report stated that Markle will be delivering an affectionate tribute to Prince Harry as well as their friends and family members at the wedding. The publication also pointed out that Markle will also be cracking a couple of jokes during her speech.

However, this won't be the first time that the actress has broken a royal tradition. Last month, she signed an autograph for a young girl during a royal engagement in Cardiff even though it's prohibited according to the royal rules. Members of the Royal Family are expected to decline requests for autographs as they risk their signature being forged.
