Supermodel Bella Hadid has had her fair share of troubles lately, with an online stalker harassing her. The police reportedly arrested the man.

Acting Supermodel Fast

The 21-year-old called the New York Police Department to report the man, who had been stalking and harassing her since the end of December last year.

The man, a 37-year-old named Ryan Perez, was subsequently arrested near her apartment building this past Thursday. He was picked up by police around 9:35 p.m. after Hadid noticed he had posted a photo of the front of her apartment building.

Police believe it's the same man who Hadid reported had left her and her family several threatening and unwanted messages in their respective social media accounts.

Perez has since been charged with stalking and aggravated harassment. The investigation is ongoing, but it's unclear whether he is still in custody or has been released.

Hadid later headed out with her sister, and fellow supermodel, Gigi to celebrate a friend's birthday. She wasn't put off sharing the night on Instagram either since she posted several updates throughout the night.

The two recently landed on the cover of the March issue of British Vogue.

"I love it. Love the skin you're in, baby!" their mother, Yolanda Hadid, enthused about the cover, which sees both women posing fully nude.

Taking It In Her Stride

Bella Hadid recently appeared on her mother's Lifetime reality series, Making a Model, and revealed her initial insecurities with posing nude or partially clothed.

"My sister [Gigi Hadid] is very bubbly and very out there, and I was always very reserved. I would literally start crying and shaking if I had to do interviews at red carpet events. It was really nerve-racking and it's scary, and it's not only you," she said.

The two are self-confessed best friends, as well as work colleagues, with older sister Gigi recently revealing how protective she feels over Bella.

"She's one of the only people I'll get aggressive for. She makes me so proud. I would do anything for her," Gigi said recently.

Hopefully, she won't need to tackle any intruders anytime soon. Given the NYPD's quick response to Bella's call, the stalker who has been terrorizing their family has been subdued. So, Gigi's sisterly protective services would, most likely, be unnecessary for the time being.
