Channing Tatum arrived at the New York premiere of his latest movie White House Down in New York on Tuesday and according to the New York Post, the actor was escorted by major security.

The 33-year-old actor reportedly showed up with five body guards who made sure that all his fans were kept at least 5 feet away. However, he did eventually take photos with the patient Tatum fanatics.

Reportedly, some of his fans were so excited to see him that they even wore Tatum T-shirts.

"I made every single one of the [shirts]," Tatum joked with reporters on the red carpet, according to the news report.

Jamie Foxx also made quite the entrance. The newspaper said that the actor showed up in a limo marked up with fake bullet wounds. He also had fake police officers in prop cars riding with him.

In the movie, directed by Roland Emmerich, Tatum plays a character named Cale who has to protect his young daughter and the president from dangerous paramilitary intruders. President Sawyer is played by Foxx.

In regards to his role, Tatum told CBS at the premiere, "I mean I don't care what president it is. I'm a red-blooded American and I love our country and I'd absolutely give my life for the president."

Maggie Gyllenhaal, who plays a character named Finnerty in the film, was also at the premiere and she told CBS what it was like playing in the film.

"Of course I met some secret service agents and chatted with them and learned some real things but I also think that, in this kind of movie, using your imagination is okay and your fantasy of what it would be like to be a secret service agent in a great suit and talk into your sleeve," she said.

The movie is hitting U.S. theaters on Friday and BoxOffice.com is predicting that it will gross $35 million in its opening weekend.
