Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been on a break for weeks but according to a new set of tweets, there may still be hope for a future reunion.

Earlier this week, Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette, posted a couple of suspicious tweets that many believed were in reference to her son's on-again, off-again romance with Gomez. This comes days after Bieber was spotted with another woman, model Baskin Champion.

While Mallette stayed mum on what her tweets were in regard to, "Jelena" fans immediately assumed that she was talking about Gomez and Bieber's relationship.

Justin Enjoyed The Company Of Champion Days Ago

After spending time with Champion last week, and being caught with her at his home, a source spoke out claiming that Bieber has no serious interest in the model.

“He isn’t dating. He thinks and talks about Selena all the time,” a friend of Bieber's explained to People magazine.

Bieber has been linked to Champion for several days now but neither he nor the model has spoken out to confirm or deny the rumors of a potential relationship. Instead, they've maintained silence and have not been seen together since their latest hangout.

It Isn't Over For Justin And Selena?

According to the source, Bieber and Gomez may be spending time apart at the moment but when it comes to their reunion in late 2017, they are “definitely not finished.” Instead, after struggling to get along after their reconciliation last year, the on-again, off-again couple decided to take a break and will likely be back together sometime soon.

Bieber and Gomez were seen together at church in Los Angeles on March 7 and haven't been seen in the same place since.

How Is Selena Handling Their Split?

Following a trip to Texas to see her family and a visit to Australia with several of her friends, Gomez is back in Los Angeles and doing her best to enjoy spending quality time with her close friends.

After a rough 2017, which included a breakup from The Weeknd and a kidney transplant, Gomez has been focusing on her health and working out regularly. In recent months, she's been seen on several bike rides in Los Angeles and has also hit up a few pilates classes.
