Sarah Michelle Gellar posted a hilarious picture insinuating that she was the mystery actress that allegedly attacked Beyonce's face. While this may have distracted fans for a bit, the intriguing case has yet to be solved as the hunt for the perpetrator continues.

Who Bit Beyonce?

Tiffany Haddish began the "whodunit" cliffhanger after she spoke about the incident during an interview with GQ. The comedic actress elaborated that this took place during Jay-Z's after-party right after Haddish had met the Queen Bey for the first time.

"Near the end of the party, Beyoncé's at the bar, so I said to Beyoncé, 'Did she really bite you?' I was like, 'She gonna get her ass beat tonight. [Beyonce] was like, 'Tiffany, no. Don't do that. That bitch is on drugs. She not even drunk. The bitch is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill," Haddish claimed.

Since then fans have speculated that the culprit might have been Love and Basketball star Sanaa Lathan. Lathan of course dismissed this rumors.

The epidemic began a viral trend on social media with the hashtag #WhoBitBeyonce.

In the meantime, the Lemonade album singer has yet to comment on the hilarious encounter. Beyoncé is currently gearing up for her next tour On The Run II with her husband Jay-Z. The singer also released new songs that will be featured on her seventh album.

Meanwhile, Haddish, who is best known for her role in the hit summer film Girls Trip, will be starring in the films Uncle Drew, Night School, and The Lego Movie Sequel
