Singer and songwriter, The Weeknd, may have finally opened up about his split with Selena Gomez, his thoughts on his ex-girlfriend reuniting with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, and more surprising revelations!

The Weeknd's new album, My Dear Melancholy, which was released on Friday, March 30, and fans who have already listened to the album theorize that the Canadian singer may have been more hurt about his break-up from Gomez than we thought.

The Weeknd's Brokenheart

The singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, and Gomez dated from January 2017 to October 2017. The Canadian artist was there for Gomez when she decided to take a hiatus from music due to her on-going battle with Lupus that also led her to undergo a kidney transplant.

Now, fans are speculating that The Weeknd could have had a potentially bigger role in Gomez's health battle due to the lyrics in a song on his new album. The song, Call Out My Name, seems to touch on his relationship with the fellow singer as he states in the lyrics that "falling for you was my mistake."

The singer also states in the same song that was going to "cut a piece of himself," which has people questioning if the singer is revealing that he was going to donate his kidney for his girlfriend at the time.

"I said I didn't feel nothing baby, but I lied/I almost cut a piece of myself for your life/Guess I was just another pit stop/Til' you made up your mind/You just wasted my time/You're on top," he sang

Gomez did receive a new kidney from her best friend, actress Francia Raisa.

Selena's Swan Song

While her ex-boyfriend is opening up about his heartbreak, Gomez has been doing her best to stay under the radar following numerous reports that singer has broken-up, again, with Bieber.

Following her recovery from her surgery, the "Heart Wants What It Wants" singer was seen spending time again with Bieber, who reportedly went to visit Gomez while she was in the hospital. The two then flew off to Jamaica to attend Bieber's father's wedding ceremony.

The rumored reunited pair decided to spend some time apart because of the stress of the media scrutiny. Bieber and Gomez began dating in December 2010 before splitting in January 2012. The entertainers were on-and-off until 2014.
