Maci Bookout And Taylor McKinney Head To Court After Their Restraining Order Request

Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney want to be protected from her potentially dangerous ex-boyfriend and headed to court this week in regard to the matter.

Last month, the Teen Mom OG couple filed separate requests for orders of protection against Ryan Edwards, claiming they've been targeted with threats in recent months. Unfortunately, Bookout's case was continued until May and McKinney's case may not be heard for a couple more months.

On Monday, April 2, Radar Online revealed Bookout would be returning to court on May 21. Around the same time, The Ashley's Reality Roundup confirmed McKinney's case wouldn't be heard for "nearly two months." The outlet also said that McKinney's case wasn't heard during Bookout's hearing on Monday.

Maci Bookout Threatened By Ryan Edwards?

While there have been several details in regard to Bookout's claims against Edwards, which include threats of violence and an additional threat to take their son, 9-year-old Bentley, not much is known in regard to McKinney's claims.

“In May of 2017 [Ryan] showed up to my son’s baseball game under the influence of heroin and got in my face, yelling and threatening to hurt me,” Bookout wrote in her protection request.

“I fear for my son’s safety because of these threats and proof that [Ryan] drives while under the influence. His behavior and actions are getting worse,” she added. “I am fearful for my three children and myself, and what he may do, based on his threats.”

Taylor McKinney Lashes Out

Although McKinney doesn't say a whole lot in regard to his clear tensions with the recently-arrested Edwards, he recently reached a breaking point with his wife's ex and lashed out at him in a shocking tweet. In the post, which was shared last week, McKinney slammed both Edwards and his wife, Mackenzie Standifer, as "jobless" and suggested it was his wife, Bookout, who was paying for Standifer's "nursing school."

Ryan Edwards Expecting Baby No. 2

As his drama with Bookout and McKinney plays out, Edwards is currently awaiting the birth of his second child. During the March 26 episode of Teen Mom OG, his wife, Standifer, was seen announcing that she is expecting as she showed off her positive pregnancy test.
