The royal wedding happened almost two months ago, but the aftermath is still felt. Now, the happy couple is sending out thank you notes.

Sending Out Well-Wishes

For fans in desperate need of more news about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, they can soak up the revelation that these little gems are in the post to plenty of lucky well-wishers. Certain fans might even be lucky enough to receive one.

According to the Instagram account Royal Letters, Harry and Meghan have been sending well-wishers, i.e. anybody who sent them wedding cards to celebrate their big day, official notes from Kensington Palace.

The little package contains a photo of the happy couple taken on the big day itself by photographer Alexi Lubomirski in an envelope embossed with the palace's crest.

Eagle-eyed fans recognize the romantic black and white photo as one of the sets taken of the couple on the day. The fashion photographer also took their dreamy engagement pics at Frogmore House in Windsor last year.

There is a personal note enclosed from Kensington Palace.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by all the incredibly kind cards and letters they have received on the occasion of their Wedding, and are so touched that you took the trouble to write as you did. It really was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by Their Royal Highnesses who send you their very best wishes," it reads.

The message continues by thanking those who sent their best for the biggest event of the year.

"It really was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by The Royal Highness who send you their very best wishes," it adds.

While the pair celebrated the release of their stunning wedding portraits, a few days after their wedding, the Palace released a statement thanking everyone for their support on the day.

It was also noted back then that the happy couple was thrilled by the messages of support they received from fans all over the world.

Showing Their Gratitude

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have become one of the most photographed couples on the planet, were spotted most recently out and about this past Thursday.

They attended a reception in London for the young people around the Commonwealth. The two are due to visit Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga this coming fall.

The happy couple is known for showing their appreciation with grand gestures. Prince Harry gifted his now-wife a pricey, original Van Donna artwork in the early stages of their relationship.

Back in 2016, he purchased artwork from the VIP section of London's Walton Fine Arts Gallery at the time for "an important person," which was later revealed to be Markle. He spent a few thousand pounds on Van Donna's "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" piece.

It features a panel of title text and another of a black stencil of a boy and girl holding hands. The gift clearly made an impression as the couple went public just a few days later.
